This Privacy Policy explains how SariaSight ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our application at sariasight.com.

1. Information We Collect

SariaSight uses the YouTube API Services to retrieve data about YouTube channels, streams, and related analytics that you authorize us to access. This includes:

• YouTube channel information (channel IDs, names, subscriber counts)
• Live stream and video metadata (titles, view counts, stream status)
• YouTube account authentication tokens (stored securely and only used to make API requests on your behalf)

We do not collect or store personal payment information, passwords, or any data beyond what is needed to provide the analytics features of the application.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

SariaSight stores information directly on your device using your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage mechanisms. We do not use third-party cookies, tracking pixels, or browser fingerprinting.

localStorage (persists across browser sessions until you clear site data or sign out):

• sariasight_token — Your authentication token, used to keep you signed in between visits.
• notify_beta_notice_seen — A one-time flag that suppresses the introductory notice banner after you have dismissed it.

sessionStorage (cleared automatically when the browser tab or window is closed):

• Transient error messages — Short-lived status messages (such as rate-limit notices) displayed in the interface. Cleared immediately after display.
• Staff session data — A temporary credential present only during active staff support sessions. Never set during normal use; cleared when the tab closes.

None of this data is transmitted to third parties except as required to make authenticated API requests to platforms you have connected (e.g., YouTube API Services, Twitch API). Because SariaSight is a web application, standard browser behaviors such as HTTP caching may also store application assets on your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

• Display YouTube channel and stream analytics within the application
• Authenticate your access to the application
• Improve the functionality and performance of the service

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. YouTube API Services

SariaSight uses the YouTube API Services. By using our application, you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.

You may revoke SariaSight's access to your YouTube data at any time by visiting your Google Account security settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain YouTube data only as long as necessary to provide the service. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at the email address below.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure token storage. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

SariaSight is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page with an updated date.
